Who We Are 

This Church of Christ has been worshiping as a body of believers here in Scottsbluff since 1956. Members of churches of Christ are a people of restoration spirit, striving to restore in our time the original New Testament church. By planting the same seed, “the Word of God” (Luke 8:11), that the first century Christians planted, we become as they were, Christians only. As members of the Lord’s body we are Christians seeking to help each other serve God daily according to His will. As bible believing people we are disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have no creed but Christ, no rule of faith and practice but what the bible teaches. We make it our goal to humbly submit to the authority of the Word of God. We welcome those who seek to follow Jesus and have a strong desire to worship our God and heavenly Father in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). 

Our Mission 

As Christians we endeavor to bring honor and glory to God by becoming more like Jesus day by day. We strive to put God first in our lives. Our purpose is to encourage, build up and extend God’s family. We are a family that cares, shares and declares.

What We Teach 

We use the Bible as our only guide for our faith and practices. Within the Bible, we find God’s plan for how to live, how to worship, and how to love our fellow man. In fact we know that God, “has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness…” (2 Peter 1:3). So we simply seek to study the Bible and apply God’s wisdom to every part of our lives.
